Hi, I am Stasia Boschetti
Hi, I'm Stasia.
I'm an American culinary writer, former caterer, lifelong homemaker, wife, and mother.
For more than thirty years, food has been at the center of both my work and my home. I've developed recipes, catered events, studied etiquette and protocol, written about American cooking, and spent countless hours around kitchen tables where some of life's best conversations happen.
American Country Living grew from a simple belief.
A well-kept home still matters.
The recipes we make, the tables we gather around, the traditions we pass along, and the care we give to family and friends shape everyday life in ways that are worth preserving.
That's why this website exists.
Not simply to share another recipe, but to help people cook with confidence, welcome others generously, and understand the traditions that have shaped American home cooking for generations.
Every recipe is developed or carefully tested in my own kitchen before it's shared here. When I write about a recipe's history, I research it with the same care I bring to developing the recipe itself. My goal is to give readers food they can trust and stories they can enjoy sharing around the table.
My professional background includes catering, recipe development, culinary writing, and formal studies in etiquette and protocol. Those experiences taught me that good food is only one part of hospitality. How we welcome people, gather around the table, and care for our homes matters just as much.
Today I live in North Texas with my husband, Giovanni, our children, one rescue golden retriever, and four rescue cats who somehow became permanent members of the household.
Whether you're looking for a dependable weeknight dinner, a holiday recipe your family will ask for again next year, or simply enjoy learning something new while dinner is in the oven, I'm glad you're here.
Welcome to American Country Living.
