Garden Diary

From the porch:Battle of the Squirrels & Bunnies

After a veggie apocalypse courtesy of some furry freeloaders, I was ready to throw in the trowel! Tried everything from spices to fences, but these critters were not deterred. Then, in a moment of desperation, I resorted to an age-old remedy: Irish Spring soap!

Turns out, my garden now smells like a fresh linen ad, and the squirrels and bunnies seem to be giving it a wide berth. So if you see me tossing bars of soap around my garden, just know I’m not creating a new fashion trend - I’m waging a war on critter invasions!

With love from the porch,
